THE FINAL MILE

    It was a hard to say goodbye to our buddy Cain. He had a gift, as all dogs do. He taught me the spirituality of the companion, of the friend who walks alongside, helping, sharing and sometimes just sitting, empty-handed, when you would rather run away.
