It was a hard to say goodbye to our buddy Cain. He had a gift, as all dogs do. He taught me the spirituality of the companion, of the friend who walks alongside, helping, sharing and sometimes just sitting, empty-handed, when you would rather run away.
Today is a good day

I hope you dance
When given the choice to either sit out or dance, I hope you dance. We are on this road called life, taking on mountains and challenges along the way. Perspective at the end of life is challenging.
Fly while you still have wings
Most of us would rather not fly after hitting the “brick wall” of the diagnosis of a life-limiting illness. Reflecting on what was good and what was bad in one’s life changes everything.
